To understand more about the
fashion world, Her Interactive scoured the internet and found two
designers who understand Nancy Drew’s passion for adventure. They design
clothes that were practically made for her, and they’ll look even cooler
on you! I had the pleasure of interviewing the creators behind Danger
Wear Design. They gave me so much hope for Girl Power and a huge wish
list for my closet!
Danger Wear Design Interview with Mark and Molly.
Mark is the logo creator and illustrator for Danger Wear
Designs.
Molly is the project manager and takes care of the business side
of things.
Together they create designs and conspire to unite the world!
HI: Let’s start at
the very beginning for Danger Wear Design. How did you first get started
designing clothes? |
 |
Mark: In my other life, I’m a toy designer with an emphasis on
designing bikes for girls. So to get some ideas, I do most of my
research in clothes - the colors, logos, trends. After doing so much
research in clothes to create cool designs for bikes, I thought it would
be a great idea to go back and create apparel from all that I had
learned.
Molly: I’m a triathlete who shops for clothes to train in, but
there’s not much fun stuff for me out there. It’s all very serious and
manly. I mean, wouldn’t it be great if women designed women’s clothing?
That’s where I came up with the idea for the Tri-Angel line. Between the
two of us, we said let’s start it!
