Inspiration

I visited the Seattle Girls School today, and I came back inspired to give you the same sense of empowerment that the school gives these girls. The school was built to give girls from all backgrounds and cultures an opportunity to change the world. Because girls should never have to hear, "You can't do _______, because you're a girl."

Teachers at the school teach girls the skills they need to become leaders and problem solvers. They had so much fun measuring craters, producing a plays about Lewis & Clark, and creating a living sea. Girls in some countries aren't allowed to go to school and learn. You have the privelage of learning, that other women before you fought for your right to be equal. So take advantage of school and strive to be the best person you can be.

Never let anyone tell you what you can and can not do. With passion and determination, you are capable of anything! Just ask Nancy. :)
