Games » Legend of the Crystal Skull
The mushrooms don't show up in inventory.
After examining this issue, we're finding this is an isolated problem either relating to an "older video card" issue (we're still investigating that), or that the player has overlooked or not actually taken the mushroom even though the player thinks they have it. Usually having the player go back to the locations of all of the mushrooms and having them try to get them all again has resolved this issue.
If you’re still having this problem (where you think you have all the mushrooms but the game still won't proceed because your inventory shows you only having 4 of the mushrooms), and you've gone back to the locations of all of the mushrooms and made sure to get them all again, please send us your saved game file located in C:\documents and settings\your profile name\my documents\nancy drew\LOTCS\..sav.
Once we receive it, we will look at it to determine what the problem is, most likely move you past that point in the game and email your saved game back to you.
*Also please follow the instructions here:
-
Go To your Start menu.
-
Select ‘Run…’
-
In the window, type “dxdiag” (without quotes).
-
This will run the DirectX Diagnostic tool. It will take a few minutes to complete (watch the progress bar in the lower left hand corner of the window for status).
-
You may be asked a question about ‘WHQL certification’, click ‘no’ or ‘cancel’ if presented with this option.
-
-
When complete, click the Save All Information button.
-
This will bring up a file requester, hit “Save.”
-
You will have saved a file called DxDiag to your desktop.
After saving this file, please click this link to e-mail Technical Support and attach the saved dxdiag.txt file along with the saved game file. That should give us the information we need to see if we can resolve this for you.
