1: The Haunting of Castle Malloy game issues:
We have support pages up for some known issues with installation and game play for our latest title. All listings for The Haunting of Castle Malloy can be found by clicking on the Games category to the left, or click on one of the common issues below to go straight to that issue's support page.
- Patch for Nancy "walking in place" on map, Kyler conversation freeze
- Cabinet (.cab) file error is displayed during installation
- 2753 Error is displayed during installation
- DLA error occurs during install, can't remove Disc 1 from drive
- Computer restarts when walking under gates on path or screen turns blue: This appears to be happening to players using a Via/S3G video card (namely the UniChrome card). This is an older card that is not fully DirectX 9.0 compatible (one of the minimum requirements as listed on the game packaging). We've been having problems with these cards since ICE and it appears that they are just not capable of supporting the demanding graphics of HAU. Upgrading your video card may be necessary to play the game.

2. Dossier: Lights, Camera, Curses error:
When starting the game a "missing d3dx9_33.dll" error occurs.
If you are getting this error, you may need to update DirectX, please click here for more information on updating your DirectX files.
