1. The Phantom of Venice demo issue:

"missing  d3dx9_33.dll" error

If you are getting this error, you may need to update DirectX; try going to Microsoft’s website and download and install the latest version of Directx for your version of Windows.

That should correct the problem.

2. Nancy Drew Central issue:

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

If you've experienced this issue recently, we apologize for the inconvenience, we are working on a solution and expect it will be back to normal by the end of the month.

To start your games, simply go to your "Start" menu, click (All)Programs, select "Nancy Drew" and find the icon or folder that has the title of your game, then click on the corresponding icon: the game should start normally.    

If you want to correct the issue right away, try uninstalling legend of the Crystal Skull, then delete the NDCentral folder located here:
C:\Program Files\Nancy Drew\Nancy Drew Central
then re-install "Legend of the Crystall Skull".
This should restore normal functionality.
