HER INTERACTIVE LAUNCHED SECOND NANCY DREW INTERACTIVE MYSTERY GAME
With 'Stay Tuned for Danger', Company Continues to Open Doors of
Technology to Girls Through Interactive Entertainment

BELLEVUE, WA. Nov. 17 - Her Interactive, Inc. the award-winning game developer, is launching "Nancy Drew: Stay Tuned for Danger", the second title in the popular Nancy Drew interactive game series. Created in collaboration with a teen advisory panel, the interactive mystery game enables girls to use their sleuthing skills to solve a mystery in this high-tech caper.

With the Nancy Drew series, Her Interactive is bringing a classic icon into the millennium for a new generation of technologically-savvy teens whose interest in computer games continues to grow. According to PC Data, the market for girls' CD-ROM titles increased by 38 percent in 1998.

"The gaming industry is taking notice of a lucrative market opportunity, and we are excited to be on the forefront," said Megan Gaiser, President of Her Interactive.

In the game, TV's hottest soap star is receiving frightening threats, and it's up to Nancy to get to the bottom of them. Nancy goes undercover as an extra on the show to expose the dangerous perpetrator. The game features interactive puzzles, brain teasers, hidden messages and a cast of exciting, realistic characters.

As with all of their games, Her Interactive relied upon the feedback of girls in the design and development of the game, to ensure that the content and the game play matched girls' interests.

The release of Stay Tuned for Danger follows the first Nancy Drew release from Her Interactive, Secrets Can Kill, which received awards and accolades from industry experts, including Teen People Magazine Online (Editor's Choice: Best Mystery Game for Girls); Good Housekeeping (1999's Top 10 CD-ROM); 1999 Parents' Choice Honors; and the Coalition for Quality Children's Media (Kids First® endorsement).

Her Interactive helped pioneer the girl games category in 1995 with the release of McKenzie & Co., one of the first CD-ROM titles designed specifically for girls. In 1997, it introduced the award-winning game, The Vampire Diaries. Secrets Can Kill, the first interactive mystery game in the Nancy Drew series, was released in 1998.
