HER INTERACTIVE TO LAUNCH THIRD NANCY DREW INTERACTIVE MYSTERY GAME
"Message in a Haunted Mansion" to Deliver Chills and Thrills

BELLEVUE, Wash - Nancy Drew is back, and this time she's ready to take on the lurking presence that is wreaking havoc in an old, Victorian mansion.

In Nancy Drew: Message in a Haunted Mansion, Her Interactive, Inc. once again brings Nancy into the computer age, and it's up to players to use their sleuthing skills to solve this high-tech mystery.

In Message in a Haunted Mansion, due for an November 2000 release, legendary teen detective Nancy Drew is invited by a friend to San Francisco to assist in the renovation of a charming Victorian mansion. But there may be other uninvited guests as well - unsettled spirits who want the place all to themselves. Nancy suspects that there is another force at work - greed. According to legend, a fortune in long-lost gold is hidden somewhere on the property, and it seems that someone is determined to take it. But in a house full of trapdoors and secret tunnels, breaking glass and suspicious fires, finding the truth won't be easy. One misstep, and Nancy won't stand a ghost of a chance.

As with all of their games, Her Interactive relied upon the feedback of girls in the design and development of the game to ensure that the content and the game play matched girls' interests.

The release of Message in a Haunted Mansion follows Her Interactive's second Nancy Drew game, the hugely popular Nancy Drew: Stay Tuned for Danger. Stay Tuned for Danger received awards and accolades from industry experts, including a 2000 Parents' Choice Gold Award for software for 10-18 year olds, National Parenting Award for best software, the National Parenting Publications Gold Award for best elementary software, and the Coalition for Quality Children's Media (Kids First® endorsement).
