HER INTERACTIVE SHIPS NANCY DREW: THE FINAL SCENE
Company Also Debuts Value-Packed Holiday Bundles at E-tail & Retail Nationwide

BELLEVUE, Wash., November 13, 2001 – Her Interactive, a developer of interactive entertainment for girls and women, today announced the latest game in its Nancy Drew series, Nancy Drew: The Final Scene, has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. Gearing up for the holidays, the company also announced special retail and e-tail game bundles that include a Nancy Drew book, along with an assortment of other game-related goodies.

Taking the role of Nancy Drew in The Final Scene, the player is pitted against the clock in a race to save a friend’s life. Nancy is tagging along while her old high school pal Maya does a story on a local historic theater that’s slated for demolition soon. The theater contains some Houdini-like secrets but Nancy’s curiosity about them is sidetracked when she hears her friend’s blood curdling scream and realizes Maya has disappeared.

The police are convinced Maya is outside but Nancy knows she’s still in the theater. Players must extract clues and hints from the game’s four characters, navigate the many hidden passageways of the theater and solve about 20 puzzles in order to save Maya.

Like all Nancy Drew games from Her Interactive, players can get in-game assistance by phoning Nancy’s friends Ned, Bess and George. They can also explore 200 hot spots that give players more clues. If players need more tips, they can visit one of the online chat sessions found at www.herinteractive.com to ask for and share information with other Nancy Drew fans. For those players who are new to the Nancy Drew game, titles in the series feature two levels of difficulty: Junior and Senior Detective.

Nancy Drew: The Final Scene is targeted at players aged 10 and up, carries an ESRB rating of “E” (Everyone) and is published by DreamCatcher. The new PC game is available through retail outlets nationwide, such as Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Best Buy, Electronics Boutique, as well as through Amazon, Scholastic and many other online and catalog outlets.

System requirements for the game include: Windows 95/98/Me/XP; 166 MHz Pentium processor; 16MB RAM; 130 MB available hard disk space; 16-bit color graphics video card; 8x CD-ROM drive; 16-bit Windows-compatible stereo sound card; mouse and speakers.

Holiday Bundles
Her Interactive is also packing loads of value into several holiday bundles available now at e-tail and retail. E-tail shoppers can purchase any Nancy Drew game and with that, get an assortment of items including: a first edition Nancy Drew book, Nancy Drew: The Case of the Lost Song; a Nancy Drew magnifier necklace, and a collection of Nancy Drew screen savers, desktop icons and wallpaper.
