HER INTERACTIVE SIGNS DEAL WITH INFOGRAMES TO DISTRIBUTE
TWO NEW NANCY DREW® MYSTERY ADVENTURE GAMES FOR THE PC

Award-Winning Super Sleuth Series at Retail this Holiday Season

BELLEVUE, Wash., September 03, 2002Her Interactive, a leading developer of interactive entertainment for girls and women, today announced that it has signed an affiliated label deal with Infogrames, Inc. (Nasdaq: IFGM). The terms of the two-year agreement grant Infogrames the exclusive U.S. rights to distribute Nancy Drew: Secret of the Scarlet Hand and Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake to the retail channel.  The characters and stories used in the games are based on the internationally best-selling Nancy Drew books.  Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Our Nancy Drew franchise is a category leader that has a tremendous following among ‘tween’ girls,” said Megan Gaiser , president of Her Interactive.  We’re very excited to form a partnership with Infogrames and we expect to expand that fan base given Infogrames’ proven distribution success.”

“Her Interactive has done a great job of bringing Nancy Drew and her adventures to life,” said Ezra Chen, vice president, product acquisition for Infogrames, Inc.  “The mass-market appeal of the series is a natural fit with Infogrames’ strong line up of mass entertainment franchises and we look forward to bringing the Nancy Drew products  to market this holiday season.”

The two upcoming Her Interactive games tap into everyone’s interest in solving a mystery.  In Nancy Drew: Secret of the Scarlet Hand, an internship at a famous museum offers Nancy a crash course in Mayan culture. Suddenly the museum alarms sound; a priceless relic has been stolen, and the only clue is a sinister scarlet handprint.  As Nancy Drew, players investigate a string of mysterious thefts to uncover a long-buried secret.

In Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake , a friend’s frantic note sends Nancy on the trail of a mysterious pack of dogs, whose glowing eyes and mournful howls threaten to chase the girls away forever. Locals say that the dogs have come back from the grave to protect the secrets of their master. Nancy must figure out if the ghostly legends are true or if there is a flesh and blood explanation for the Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake.

Secret of the Scarlet Hand will be available in mid-September while Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake is due out in November.  Both games carry an ESRB rating of “E” (Everyone) and will be available for $19.99 (SRP).
