Ransom of the Seven Ships Coming Soon!

We're getting pretty close to the launch of Ransom of the Seven Ships. We know it's a long wait for our fans between our last game (Nancy Drew Dossier: Lights, Camera, Curses) and our latest summer title, so we always wonder what else you play to fill in the time between the games.

Do you play the old games over?
Do you find some other games to play?
Do you write Alternate Endings and fan fictions to post on the message board?
Do you create videos from screenshots of the game and post them?
Do you solve your own personal mysteries?

We're just curious because our fans are so creative!

Oh, and this came cross my desk today:

Looks like we're almost ready to start preorders. Look for the dates in the upcoming June newsletter...

Let me just say that I can't wait for the game!! It's taking FAR too long to get here! haha

But between new games I play the old ones over again, and play various other games (especially Lego and Sherlock Holmes games). And right before the game comes out I play through all the games in order - it's a tradition now that I've been doing it quite a few years :D

I'm so excited for RAN! I'm definitely going to pre-order it. To answer your questions:

1.) Yes, I've played every game (except SCK and STFD because I don't actually own those) at least three times each.

2.) I play other computer games, if thats what you mean. But ND games are my favorite.

3.) Yes, I started writing an AE for CRY, but I am currently suffering from writer's block.

4.) Nope! I like to take screenshots and distort them, or mess with the colors, though. That doesn't count, does it? :D

5.) Everyday has some kind of mystery in it. I have to solve them or I go insane.

i play old games over and watch walkthroughs of the game with commentary for entertainment. I adlo play the games with my friend, ones that haven't played the games before and ones that have. My friends and i also talk about it a lot and what we think the new games will be like and basicaly how fun the games are.

I write Alternate Endings and I also play the old games over and over. I just had my birthday a couple of days ago and I got Lights, Cameras, Curses; and Stay Tuned for Danger. I already solved the Dossier and I have to say that it was very different from the adventure games, but it was still a wonderful game! Great job, HER! I'm trying to solve Stay Tuned for Danger right now. I love it so far! Oh, besides writing Alternate Endings and playing the old games, I go shopping for, not clothes, but Nancy Drew books and games. If I find one that I don't have I try to buy it. :)

I am so excited for RAN to come out, it looks so cool. The demo is really fun, also. I'm glad that was my first demo.(:

To pass the time, I play the games over again (I just finished CRE, HAU, and ICE again), and then I re-play other games, like the Dossier.

I've beaten every game so far, and I'm so pumped to try this game out.(:
Thanks, HeR! (:

I can't wait for RAN!!! Usually I just play the old games over and buy some of the games I don't have already, and then in the final two weeks of waiting I don't buy any games, I just save up my allowance:)I'm going to cancel my preorder on Mazon because it makes me wait for the game like a week after it comse out!Grrrr LOL

I am so excited for this game to come out, i have played -- and won all but 2 games.

i love playing the games over and over again, but i find it difficult because i have laptop, it's a newer one so the old games make alot of noise when i play the games, from Secrets Can Kill to Danger On Deception Island make soo much noise i can barely play it, but i have anormal computer which works way better.

RSS looks amazing, I was blown away by Haunting of Castle Malloy, the graphics were insane but the game was very difficult.

Can't wait! HER i know you will not dissapoint
