Fan Love

We always love hearing from our fans. Their ideas never cease to amaze us! We like to share the cool things they send us, so everyone else can see them as well.

We received an email to webmaster@herinteractive.com the other day from Mary. She baked the cake from Secret of Shadow Ranch and sent us the picture.

It looks so yummy! Has anyone else tried to make one of the recipes from our games? We'd love to hear about it!

My family and i have always wondered if that was a real recipe. I have thought about making it. My son called the Manatees hotline and discovered that it was a real number! We all love your games! When is the next full gamr going to be released? Mallory was the best one yet and we have played them all!

I took a cake decorating class a while back. I'll have to try this out. Of course, that means playing Shadow Ranch again (I love that one). I will also try to make those cookies that Jing made with the mint. They sounded yummy.

I made the cookies from DAN (with mint extract instead of freshly chopped mint) & they were sooooo good!

I haven't really tried any recipes from the games yet, but the cake looks so yummy. I'll definitely try making those chocolate cookies with Jing Jing Ling's recipe from DAN.

I made the corn fritters from the secret of shadow ranch. They were super delicious but I burned myself and uhm...my entire kitchen in the process. The splashing oil and all that.

I did try to bake that cake as well. I must have gotten something wrong with the timing and the baking powder. The cake tasted incredibly bitter and i overcooked it too : (

Oh well, perhaps I should try jj lings cookies next!

I completely LOVE that Shadow Ranch cake recipe. It's one of my favorite cakes now! I saw that someone made the corn fritters, has anyone tried the rattlesnake chili or the vinegar pie?

I've made the cake before but in the middle the cake was still a little doughy.

For the mint chocolate chip cookies from DAN, could some one please tell me:
- how much butter 3 cubes translates into?
- how much mint extract to sub for the fresh mint
-and temp to bake at (i'm assuming 350 degrees)

thanks a bunch!

I am gonna show those recipies to my sister. She is the one who does all the baking in my family. I am the one who "samples" everything. :)

We made the shadow ranch cake when the game first came out quite a while back and it was excellent!!! We brought some to our church and people were asking for the recipie, saying they loved how it tasted sooo good by itself without any frosting! And that the cake was very dense and heavy almost like corn bread but sweeter and better!
We also baked the mint cookies from Danger by Design and they were good, just go easy on the mint extract because if you put too much it ruins the flavor.
