“...a wonderful experience. The puzzles all closely related to the time and art. Probably the high point of the game is the finding and opening the burial chamber. Not every day do you get to be Howard Carter. The Drew mysteries have evolved -- graphics are better, ancillary characters more fleshed out, some shortcuts are appreciated but from the beginning -- the stories, the complexity of the layouts and Nan 's voice remain good as gold.” -- Games 4 Women

“I have been playing Nancy Drew Games for some time, and this one was so interactive and engaging. I loved the fact that there were two levels of play as I like to have my seven year old daughter play as well, and the regular version is still a bit tough. The graphics were great and the game itself had a wonderful storyline that made the game both interactive and challenging. This game fits well into the line of Nancy Drew Games from the past.” -- Dad of Divas

“Nancy Drew: Tomb of the Lost Queen is one of the best ever of the Nancy Drew mysteries. It's a compact, tightly-crafted whodunit that drips with history and intrigue. With cunning deceptions, cave-ins and cobras aplenty, the game's got the right balance of scary but not too scary.” -- USA TODAY

“Her Interactive has clearly done extensive research to create puzzles, events, and characters that are authentic and faithful to the world of archeology in Egypt while taking creative liberties where appropriate. Most of the puzzles require knowledge of Ancient Egyptian culture, all of which is imbibed in game. I applaud this studio for entertaining me and making me feel like an Egyptologist simultaneously.” -- GameZebo

“Every production value screams excellence: the background art is beautiful, the character animations expressive; the ambient sound effects are appropriate, the music subtle but ear-catching , and the voiceovers extremely well-acted. This all supports an intriguing story containing some sharp writing and sharper dialog, as well as the best characterizations I've experienced in an adventure game in a long time. The end result is an entertaining experience from start to finish.” -- TruePCGaming

“Her Interactive continues to amaze me. After making 30 or so games in 14 years, you'd think they'd run out of creative talent and energy ten times over, and that every new Nancy Drew game would be an obvious clone of the previous one...” -- Gamecola

“This is not the most challenging game of the series, but I think it is one of the most exciting, and after 25 games, it is quite an achievement to keep things interesting. "Tomb" is definitely worth checking out for something fun to do on your summer vacation.” -- Just Adventure

“If you like smart puzzle games that will keep you occupied for a number of hours then this is the game for you. At first it looks like a game made for young girls. I was mistaken though, as much as the Nancy Drew series is probably aimed at a younger audience, I did enjoy it.” -- Brash Games

“Tomb of the Lost Queen is both the same and different from past games. Everything about it feels like the previous installments in the series. It's the subtle but notable changes that put it a step ahead. Refinements to the UI layout and style are a welcome change, making it easier to use while being less obtrusive.” -- Avault
